BLAH BLAH BLAH I LOVE EXAMS! (I"m going CRAZY!)

Exam week is really hitting me hard... It's hitting me so hard, i haven't blogged in almost a week!  I have done 3 exams so far
1) Music Theory= easy but hard at the same time
2) Aural Skills= quite easy  brightened my week
3) Keyboard skills= Ha funny story...

ITs just so upsetting when you practise so much and then you blank on your exam. I guess my keyboard exam didn't go that bad.... but it could of been SO MUCH BETTER! I have a busy week ahead of me.. 2 more exams! Music history and Intro to Christianity. Again its all about the right amount of care, (I should write a book about this)

Some more random sorrys
* I'm sorry Catherine and I have not completed those awesome lyrics for our song
* I'm sorry we haven't been posting enough (I know we have so many eager fans :D)
* I'm sorry the beginning of this post is so.... gloomy. ( I will do a happy one soon; as soon as this horrible week is OVER)

Some random wishes
* I wish a happy exam week for all of those music students and normal students. Don't work to hard kids!
* I wish for Christmas to come faster
* I wish i could be a sleep right now

Some random thank-youz
* Thanks for all of my loving friends and family that make my life AWESOME!
* Thanks to McDonald's for having the best food EVER!
* Thanks to my awesome school for having awesome but annoying education
* Thanks to all of you devoted readers that continue to check our blog even though we SUCK at posting!

The Cure for Not Being Able to Sleep.

Yes, as you can probably tell . I'm posting pretty late ate night. and the worst part is that it's a school night.  From lack of comfortableness and from so many other issues, sleeping is utterly impossible.. i think I've got 3 hours so far this night.  Well of course I decided to give up on sleeping and watch some TV.. TV SUCKS! there is literally nothing good on every time i try and watch TV,  so i decided that I was in the mood for a good chick flick . After I watched one,(maid in Manhattan) I got seriously addicted. Now I'm on to "music and lyrics" and after I plan to watch bride wars.
I've made a few observations about the classic chick flick...

1) Chick flicks make love sound so easy- for half of the woman in this world, love takes a lot of effort. It's sad but SOOO true.

2) the men are always like 20989801 years older than the females- Lets get semi realistic. In today's society a 40 year old guy rarely dates a 20 year old. ... i don't know, it seems kind of ridiculous. But, I do appreciate the fact that the men they pick in these three movies are not the "perfect looking male".

3) All guys in chick flicks have guts..... in reality, guys are more passive than females....- Seriously guys go get the girl. No girl wants to have to put more effort to get someone than the guy does. If no one realises that

4) Who cares about the last 3 points- Keep on making chick flicks because they let girls dream and realise how important they are.

A FEW OTHER RANDOM THOUGHTS..

I should be studying right now because its exam time and i have SOOO many exams. My first one is on Thursday but I am so thankful that it is an open book exam. I know what you're thinking.. How much better can life be? I know i was asking my self the same question about it.

I've eaten so much chocolate in the last day.. i think it's getting to my head

2 days untill my birthday!

Because of how sick i feel, I am reallt dabating whether or not i should go to school today...

I should get back to my  movies,
Love,
Bre

Amazing People - like Little Drummer Boys

I found something amazing two days ago:
A video performance of "The Little Drummer Boy" made by Sean Quigley, a 16 year old from relatively-small-town Canada. It's an amazing video, partly because Sean created literally every part of the video, partly because the filming is just so beautiful, and partly because Sean, in his interviews, has only pointed to one person's inspiration and glory from the video - Jesus Christ, who Sean says Christmas is all about (PS - I agree!!)
Pretty inspiring stuff, especially coming from a 16-year-old high school student. Would we all be that bold?

Anyways, here's the link to the video! It's massed over 100,000 hits in four days, so be aware that it will soon be a hit!

God bless Sean Quigley - and may he have a very Merry Christmas!

A Short Pause for Personal Reflection

Wow, so I just looked back at our two most recent posts, and I realized we all of a sudden became very affirming towards out friends and family. I'm glad, actually, because sometimes I think I forget to affirm people - I mean, it's just so much easier to tease them, you know? Teasing is good (obviously it is, since I do it all the time), but affirmation is pretty awesome. I mean, how often does someone walk by you, and yell to you that you're beautiful? CORRECT ANSWER: Never! SEMI-CORRECT ANSWER: Rarely... ANNOYING ANSWER THAT IMPLIES THAT YOU ARE STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS: All the time!!!!!
But hey, the Beatles sang about love...I'm writing about affirmation - same difference! Love spreads affirmation and affirmation spreads love, so, I say, why not?

Thank you SO much for reading our blog! Reading it affirms me, and makes me see that you are someone is truly caring.

See?

How good did that feel?
(Correct answer: AMAZING)

Anyways, that's all for now - spread the affirmation!

A Poem for Brooklyn!

Your hair is beautiful.
Your eyes are blue.
You're a awesome singer \
We are in history.
History is kind of fun.
We just got our exam review.
This is our last class of history
We are supposed to make a graphic organizer.
We sing in chapel today,
and i am ringing bells.
You are beside me,
taking notes.
It's snowy outside.
I like the site you're on.

I hope you enjoyed this poem.\

Awesome things like finishing essays, and sisters.

I am sitting in my basement right now, basking in the fact that I just finished a major research essay! I am also basking in the fact that I happen to have a sister who is absolutely confoundingly talented at writing music, and singing, and playing guitar. Like, seriously, if you give her three words, she can take those three words and turn them into a deep, meaningful, artsy and folky song. I just like her. There a certain things in certain people that we tend to aspire to, and her ability to turn ordinary life into something beautiful (through music) is something that I definitely aspire to. This is not the same sister who had the funny conversation with the telemarketer, btw. This sister read that blog post, and begged me to write a blog post about her - I told her that she had to do something funny, and then I would. But tonight she showed me something better than funny - and that is beauty! So, my dear Cecile, here is my blog post about you! May you continue to inspire beauty into the world... and may you also record a CD within the next one to fifty weeks.

love you!!

Feeling Prepared is BAD!

Sorry I am such a lag and I never post.... its just, I"M SO BUSY!

I have been writing essays, tests, and studying...... the worst.
Yes, this semester is coming to an end which means,
1) a feeling of wanting to get everything over with
2)  longing for having fun and going to Christmas celebrations,,... but, you can't
3) several concerts to sing in :D
4) feeling sleepy all the time
5) eating all the time (only junk)
6) and soo.... much.,... more... funnnnnn... stuffs!

Tomorrow is my last music history test before the exam and of course I left studying for the night before the test. Typical Breanna eh?
Wanna know what the weird thing is?
...Even if you don't, I'm going to tell you any way.. .
I literally feel prepared
Wanna know what the even weirder thing is?
.... still going to tell you...
this makes me nervous.
I have never felt prepared and I passed so I wonder if this will have the opposite effect. Lets hope not. But, I should get back to studying!

I'll post more often for all of my hardcore fans. HA!

The Approximate Organization of My Life Right Now

I might as well be heaving, out of breath right now, because my life's business level just decided to take itself up about 7 or so notches. But, I'm happy to say that I can see a light appearing at the end of the tunnel! Classes end in less than two weeks, and exams are done (for me) in only three weeks!

But, because this is only a short post, and it probably should be funny, I thought I'd just let you all know that I organized the bookmarks on my internet page. I had about 20, and I could never remember how far to look down the list, so I organized them!!! I organized them into four folders (pssssst: this is the funny part): School Stuff; Fun Things; Sensible Things; and Recipes.

Recipes.

Isn't that funny? I mean, why "Recipes," right?

Anyways, I am glad that you will now have a good day, since you read such a funny post. I have to go, and write an essay or two. I will try and stay away from the Fun Things folder, and get stuff done!

Cheerio!
k bye. ;)

WOW! SNOW!

yes.... as you probably already know... it is currently snowing like crazy. Some might say, "its beginning to look a lot like Christmas." tee hee.
Today it took me 2 hours to drive home.. that's right TWO HOURS, and the worst part is that I almost spun out on the highway. sigh.. Although, there are many good things about snow.

1) It makes great snow people. (snow man!) Yes, it may be obvious but some people might now know.
2) Santa lives in snow. :D
3) it would be impossible to have a snow ball fight without snow.. der
4) its fun for males to pee in.. (like in the movies) they can draw pictures. How cool!
5) its awesome to eat. But, Make sure you watch out for all of that pee.

After all, I can truly say i am so thankful for all of the wonderful people in my life.
NEVER, EVER take life for granted and the people that make your life fun :D
Love you all,
~B~

Time just keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking...

My day to was crazy. From 9:00 to 3:30 the biggest break I had was fifteen minutes between choir and opera workshop, and lunch was two granola bars... sigh. WHY, UNIVERSITY?!! WHY?!!

The good news is that it's now 4:01 pm, and I have now eaten a full supper, and I am sitting in a quaint, comfy lounge/cafe at school, and Josh Groban and Michael Buble are singing me Christmas songs. Someone is hanging Christmas lights around the perimeter of the room, and Christmas trees are being erected, and best of all, I don't have to be anywhere else until 4:30!

But best, BEST of all, today in choir we sang the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah - and friends, when I say "we", I mean "we" as in 80+ women and men. It's so epic, and I just get shivers all over me when I sing it. Remember last Christmas season when it became popular to organize flash mobs of the Hallelujah Chorus? I would always watch those Youtube videos, and long that I could be there, experiencing that beauty. Well, I guess a choir practice isn't EXACTLY a flash mob, but nevertheless, the beauty of Handel's Messiah is in every way present there.

Anyways, it's now 4:13, and I should probably do something productive (like sleep) before my next practice at 4:30.
But before you finish reading this, take a little time to indulge your ears in this wonderful phenomenon:

Adios, friends!

There's more to telemarketers than we think, apparently.

Now, usually, as per tradition, Breanna and I blog about stuff that has to do with us. Not because we're egocentric or narcissistic, but simply because it's not called "Breanna and Catherine's Extravaganza" because it's about our siblings. Seriously.

HOWEVER: There are times when something bizarre and hilarious happens to a sibling, and so we HAVE to write about it. This is one of those times.

My sister Nicole was finishing an essay tonight, but as she was studying, she was interrupted by a phone call. This is the true, honest conversation.

Nicole: Hello?

Telemarketer: Hi, is Mr. R. there?

Nicole: Sorry, he's out right now. Can I take a message?

Telemarketer: That's okay, I'll just call another time... actually, you sound like a nice person, I'll just talk to you! I'm from The Winnipeg... or, sorry, how are you doing today?

Nicole: Good, thanks.

Telemarketer: You sound ecstatically excited.

Nicole: (Trying to hint that she doesn't want to talk) Yeah... I'm writing essays right now, so I'm kind of in a focused mood.

Telemarketer: Oh... Well... I'll let you get back to your essay writing, I'll just call back another time. Actually, what's your essay topic? (Yes, he really said this!)

Nicole: Uh... The use of different psychotherapy approaches for older adults with depression...?

Telemarketer: Oh. Well, I don't know anything about that topic.

Nicole: Oh.

Telemarketer: It's too bad it wasn't a topic I knew something about, or else I could help you!

Nicole: Uh, yeah... that would have been great!....?...

Telemarketer: Yeah, cause imagine if you had a telemarketer phone, and he helped you on your essay! Wouldn't that be crazy?

Nicole: Um, yeah... haha

Telemarketer: Well, anyways, sorry I didn't know anything about your topic!

Nicole: That's okay.

Telemarketer: Well, have fun writing your essay! Have a good night!

Nicole: Thanks, you too!

Nicole hangs up.

997...998...999

What can we say?
We're almost at 1000? 1000 what, you say?
Perhaps it is 1000 moments of happiness...
Perhaps it is 1000 laughs that have spilled out of your mouths... because we're so funny...
Perhaps it is 1000 shrugs of confusion over the random thoughts, or jokes (aka: Mama Yo)...
Perhaps it is the 1000  words you DIDN'T write on your essay, because you were reading this blog...
Or perhaps, it is 1000 views you have bestowed on us... As a matter of fact, this is the most likely of all the "perhaps"!

Thanks for the views, guys!

Breanna`s Rules For Being a Good Friend.

1) always keep in touch, don't ignore anything your friend says.
2) never share personal conversations with other people
3) don`t take any friend for granted. You never know how much people mean to you until they`re gone.
4) give a friend space when they are angry or upset.
5) watch you're friends emotions closely. they could be hiding something important. (or they might want you to notice they're emotions)

seriously take these rules to heart. they'll work.

The One About Love

Today I took a WHOLE day off studying... and I loved it!
It was a good day to love something, because today was a day that was a lot about love:
It was about love because it was Remembrance Day, in which I remembered those who loved us enough to leave us...
It was about love because I had to work, as a cashier, and talk to about 200 people, and I didn't feel like it. I had to love them anyway...
It was about love because I watched a rom-com (Monte Carlo - SO good) with my friend. It had lovely love stories in it...
It was about love because I sat with that friend, and talked honestly about life, and love.
Love isn't love unless it's pure and giving.Today was about that kind of  love because I remembered that love, gave that love, watched that love, and experienced that love. All in pure, wonderful ways.

This is the one about love, because love is about one - the one who's not you. I learned a little bit more today about how to love that one. Whoever that "one" is.

The Most Amazing Theme Song Anyone Has Ever Written

Breanna and Catherine here.

We would like to have a theme song for our blog, but we don't feel like writing anything other than lyrics, so our question is this: if we were to write the lyrics to a song, but not write the music, would you take those lyrics, and write your own music to it? And if you did, would you post it as a video on Youtube for us?
Here's the first two lines, and when you comment, we'll add more lyrics!

We wish we were good at poems, but instead we only rhyme.
We've tried to make beautiful music, but consistently run out of time!

To be continued. . . . .

k bye.

Musicals and Gorgeous Dresses and Boyfriends... and Symphonies

That pretty sums up our evening.
So Breanna is so awesome because she makes up fake(/real?) boyfriends.
So Catherine is so awesome because she likes to take artistic pictures of chandeliers and people.
So Marissa is so awesome because she pretends to be a chicken (as in, the bird). This obviously makes her the bestest person ever, and so that's why SHE IS BLOGGING WITH US TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Topic 1: Musicals
Tonight Catherine, Marissa and Breanna sat on Catherine's bed in her messy room and sang musicals as loud as we could and to our hearts' content. We want to be musicals stars right now. Especially Marissa. And she will be.

Topic 2: Gorgeous Dresses
Marissa bought a new dress today. Then she and Breanna attempted to do Catherine's hair, and it didn't work because her hair was too clean! (???) Then, at the symphony concert, there was a gorgeous black dress on a performer, and well, it was gorgeous. So yeah.

Topic 3: Boyfriends
Hmmm. Well, Breanna has 3 fake ones.

Topic 4: Symphony
Tonight we saw the WSO play the music of Stephen Sondheim, and guest performer was.... Lou Cariou, who was the first Sweeney Todd ever! It was fantastic, and it was also where Breanna saw her third fake boyfriend. So yeah.

Anyways. We liked our night, and we like you. K bye.

~ B&C AND M ~

Nobody likes you, Breanna

This is what Breanna's friend who is practically her sister, Marissa, told her. I think there are many reason to like Breanna:

1) She occasionally imitates Dory imitating a whale.

2) She likes walking around in bare feet, holding coffee, and saying, "I want to be a classy person."

3) She said she's too white to sing in Latin. Which does not make any sense. At all.

4) She uses dishtowels as shawls

5) Her motto is, "My name is Breanna, and I don't care."

6) She nurtures crushes on symphony players.

7) She once said, "I feel like a man. I should try to be more feminine."

8) She dressed as a turtle for Halloween, and couldn't get the costume off.

9) She pretends she is an advanced pointe ballet dancer.

10) She says that she thinks she is Santa.

There are innumerable other things that I could say about Breanna. But I will leave it at 10.

Catherine

***UPDATE: Marissa would like to clarify that she actually does like Breanna...probably because she read this blog.

Intro to Christianity

Breanna is sitting beside Catherine and Marissa! :D
k bye.

eduhqwif aoihsd aojwbf oasjdlajxbciw

this (^) is what im seeing today. Trying to focus in music history in incredibly impossible when you were just sleeping an hour before.. I literallly fell asleep in class. (for the first time since nap time in kindergarten). Music students are always tired because we work so hard. (not saying we work harder than anyone else but, we do a different kind of work. It's all about stamina). Every day in history I watch the attendence slowly decrease. At least I'm here I guess.

It's humpday today! the week is half over :D .
I'll check in soon,

Thinking Happy Thoughts

There's a lot of things in life that make you think happy thoughts:

  • Chocolate (Hot, cold, solid, liquid, with or without caramel, nuts, raisins or salt)
  • The feeling of slipping into pajamas that just came out of the dryer on a cold winter night (fuzziness! yay!)
  • The feeling of slipping into cool new sheets on a warm summer night (especially when they are blue)
  • Putting on chapstick when your lips are super dry (I always want to sigh "Ahhhhhh" as loud as I can!)
  • When warm water at a beach splashes gently around your feet and ankles (especially when on vacation)
  • Home-made stew (you know, with juicy beef and turnips and parsnips and potatoes, and...)
  • Hugging a loved one the airport after not seeing them for a while ("There he/she is! Hurray!")
  • Big sweatshirts (or bunnyhugs, if you happen to be from Saskatchewan)
  • Curled hair (or straightened hair, depending on the day)
  • A new gorgeous outfit (especially if your mother bought it for you, and you actually really like it, which means that it's free)
  • An amazing worship service that makes you feel really close to God. (Again.)
  • A REALLY long talk with a REALLY good friend, after not seeing them for a REALLY long time.
I had one of these tonight - the one right there at the bottom. It was wonderful, and, as I sit here, taking a study break whilst the rest of my house is sleeping, I find that I don't mind that I'm busy, or that I'm studying, or that I'm not sleeping, or that I have to work tomorrow. I just have a happy, warm mind (and a happy, warm heart).

Giving up isn't not trying...

yes... I have a history listening test tomorrow.
yes... I studied for 6 hours
and yes... I still don't know anything. (there's 32 songs...)
and yesss... I gave up!

Music history is probably the hardest music course there is. There's so much to know in so little time.
After 6 hours of failing, I finally realized that freaking out is just making everything worse for my mental health and my physical health. Lets just hope there might be a retest. (or maybe there will be some miracle in which Breanna passes). Please pray for me!
The thing that makes me the maddest of the maddest: This is the hardest I've studied for a test EVER!

Chiropractors and peacefulness

The bad news is, I have basically had a sore back ever since I started school in September. I can't decide whether it's from stress or just bad posture. I was talking to someone in choir today (but don't worry, I wasn't supposed to be singing while I was talking) (), and she told me that I should go see a chiropractor. Maybe. I think I should just speed up the calendar to December, when I'm done exams and not stressed - either that, or sit straight.

The good news is, I'm done my midterms!! There weren't as hard as I thought they would be. I feel unsettlingly peaceful - if that's at all possible.

University was so scary to me when I thought about it in August, but you know what? I think I can do it! And just think about this: If you're a first-year, you only have seven more semesters left after this one! ONLY seven. Try to think about it positively, if possible. ☺

One last thing: I really like how it feels to have people clap for me. Perhaps that's why I'm a music student.

Heaven help me!

The Awkward Post

We don't know what to say today, but Breanna likes turtles. Catherine used to think that Reeses Pieces were gross, but she's kind of starting to not mind them now. Maybe....

*Breanna thinks Catherine smells good. :D

*Catherine thinks Breanna thinks she smells good because she is eating a chocolate peanut butter granola bar.

*Breanna thinks that Catherine said she likes Reeses Pieces because she was eating said granola bar... and Breanna thinks that Catherine's correct.

We are writing our blog as we eat lunch (in TCL), but we should be studying for a HUGE midterm we both have tomorrow. So, yeah.

K bye.

*PS - Catherine is wondering why Breanna likes turtles.

The Story of Mama Yo

Q: If Yo-Yo Ma was a rapper, what would his name be?
A: Mama Yo!

Once upon a time, Catherine was sitting with Breanna, and Catherine thought of this funny joke. At least, she thought it was funny.

Catherine: Thinking: This is such a funny joke! I should tell all my friends at school!

Walks over to Breanna and friends.

Catherine: Hey Breanna (and friends)! Want to hear a great joke?

Breanna: Yes, I want to hear a great joke!

Catherine: Q: If Yo-Yo Ma was a rapper, what would his name be? A: Mama Yo!

Breanna: Uhhh, I don't get it.

Friends: Silence.

Fifteen minutes later, Catherine and Breanna are with their WHOLE music class.

Catherine: Hey guys, want to hear a great joke?

Others: Uhhhh, sure?

Catherine: Tells Joke. Laughs hysterically.

Breanna: Starts giggling hysterically.

Others: Uhhh, I don't get it.

And until this day, Breanna and Catherine (aka, us) are the only ones who love Mama Yo.

Peace it out,

Hot Water? ( completely random)

Yes.. this entry is exactly what you think. Hot water. I am honestly fascinated by hot water. . I have no idea what I like about it,  but it's awesome. As Catherine would say, "just try it".
I know what you're thinking: why hot water? Why is she so fascinated by hot water? Wouldn't it taste the same?

It actually tastes completely different. Funniest thing.. it's bitter but at the same time it's SOOOO good!
Hot water soothes the wear and tear of your throat, (from constantly practicing your solfege),  and  quenches your thirst. (prior to the 100 laps  you run after you finish your solfege.....HA! kidding.)

I wonder if fish like hot water. They must get a little sick of cold water because I sure do. Clown fish probably like luke warm water because they are clowns. or are they clowns?

That was my completely meaningless post of the day,

TCL (The Commuter Lounge)

It's the place to be. It's the place to want to be.

It's The Commuter Lounge.

I have spent at least two lunch hours per week for the last month and fifteen days in this said Commuter Lounge, and well, there's so much to say about it that I can't say too much about it.

We had a dessert potluck.
We had a debate about infant baptism.
There are red leather couches.
You can make yourself tea for $0.25.

There was a dessert potluck.

But, apart from all these wonderful things, there is pretty much the same 12-15 people who eat/hang out here, and friends have fast become really close friends through it.

It's TCL - The Commuter Lounge.

You should join us.

The Tale of Two Midterms

Breanna: I want to say that my experience was petrifying.  Here are some of my rules for keyboard skills midterm
1) Count your bars. Always play 16, not 8 bars. ... I know it sounds simple but it not.
2) When feeling disappointed watch what you say. I find when adrenaline is rushing through my veins I swear and I HATE swearing.
3) Don't care too little and don't care too much, (it's all about the right amount of care)

After my midterm  I felt some serious anxiety but there is no point...... honestly as my sister said "It's just a midterm..

Catherine:
Weeeelllll at least it's done. My biggest issue leading up to it was that I didn't think I had practiced my rhythms enough (NON-MUSIC STUDENTS: Try clapping one rhythm, and speaking a different rhythm. Just try it.). As it turns out, the ones I practiced the most turned out to be on the midterm, so, phewf about that. I wasn't perfect though - again, if you're not a music student, try improvising in a canon, fast, and then try to count to 16 at the same time. Just try it.
Now I have a midterm on Tuesday, and a midterm on Wednesday. Then I have a recital, a concert, and an essay. Non-students? Just try it.
But I'm happy! I got NINE glorious hours of sleep last night, and I was singing - SINGING??!! - as I walked into school. It may just end up being a good day.

Breanna and Catherine:
Hot water is good. Have a good day.
Ipl8er. (Definition: I'll post later.)
K bye.

Wednesday, 19 October 2011

uh oh..

these's gonna be some serious tears tomorrow..... either of joyousness, pity, fear, or saddness..

SNOW SNOW SNOW!

Why is there a need for nerves? I've been asking my self this for the past 2 days. Keyboard skills makes me want to cry but some where i find humour in it... yes I'm an emotionally confused music student. Maybe even a musically confused music student? you probably asking your self how could that be?
Well this is how
1) I get no sleep (wake up late everyday ) Therefore, everything is so funny!
2) There is a constant metronome tapping in my head constantly along with my head telling me I'm lazy and I should probably be practicing my rhythms (how do these rhythms show musicality..?.. I honestly don't know anymore)
3) When I'm in my car going  home (by my self) I sometimes listen to retro country. I"M GOING INSANE! What kind of music student listens to retro country? I think I'm ill!
4) When I am at home I want to watch animal planet... I used to hate animal planet. It must be my friend thinking she is a cat.. oh wait SHE IS A CAT!

Today should consist of skills. nap? more skills, work and finally skills.
Tomorrow is mine and Catherine's keyboard skills mid term and of course I'm spending more time worrying than preparing.

Perfiffled

Dear Breanna,

I was joking about the lettuce. I think it`s just your curly hair that reminds me of the tops of lettuce, that`s all.
I'm having a heck of time writing this essay too. I just don't know what my focus is! I'm utterly and completely perfiffled.

Funny thing:
When I was trying to write the words "Tokens of Trust" at the top of my page, I accidently wrote "Tokens of Tryst" instead! I laughed for about two minutes. And I keep calling Rowan Williams, Rowan Atkinson, who is Mr. Beans and decidedly NOT the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Anyways. I hope I sleep tonight *sigh*

Your perfiffled friend,

Catherine

FRUSTRATION!...

Dear Catherine. I was joking about the banana!

I've spent 2 nights trying to do this Intro to Christianity essay and its not getting anywhere. I've done the intro paragraph and it took me 4 hours... this will be a long 2 days. I wish someone would help me with this ... sigh. I guess this is considered writers bock.... oh wait I'm not in anyway a writer.

SO FRUSTRATING!
bye for now,
Bre

PS

Do I REALLY look like a banana?

Conclusion #2: It's IMPOSSIBLE to write an essay while you're playing balderdash.

It's true. My plan last night was to start, or at least OUTLINE my essay. Then I came home and found out that we were billeting four guys from this Catholic organization called NET for the night. This meant that I had to clean the house, help make supper, eat supper, clean the kitchen, and then re-serve supper for these four dear gents.
The good news is that they were the most fantastic four people I've met in a very long time, and I had such a great night, and laughed so much that my back was cramping. It was fantastic. However...

The bad news is that I barely got any work done on the essay. Why? I'm glad you asked. We played Balderdash. I learned a lot of great words - like
A) "Randlesman", which is a green hanky with white polka dots; and
B) "Funkify", which means to retreat fearfully.
I'm just a little unsure how I can incorporate those words into my essay. We'll see.

Well, I'm being very procrastinational right now, so I better vamoose.
Remember: Don't funkify from a cold! Just bring your randlesman, and you'll be fine.

New conclusion: I am a huge Procrastinator

Breanna:

Breanna's advice of the day: ALWAYS! ALWAYS! bring a fully charged laptop to academic writing..... and history.

My day was decent I guess. Music history is always interesting.. you may have thought music students pay attention in every class because they're NERDS, but your wrong. Today I just couldn't pay attention. I have no idea if it was my lack of coffee intake or the several interesting distractions but, there's no way I heard anything my prof said... sigh.
Distraction#1) Good friends: I cant help but talk to people when i have so much to tell them.
Distraction#2. the best one) One of my friends in front of me had  a sock sticking out of his hood. We have no idea how the sock got there or why, but it was a priceless moment. For some reason i found this so funny. Its not even funny.... well it kind of is. My friend to the right of me decided it would be funny to send him a note to tell him of his laundry incident so she did and i had to pay attention for the rest of the hour and fifteen minutes.

As Catherine explained, voice matching is awesome.. for the first 10 minutes. We spent all class doing it, even though it can be completely inaccurate. Personally, my voice is strained from singing 24/7... so there is no way my voice was matched accurately with the person i was placed next to.. and i hate being on the end of the row. But seriously, the choir sounded completely different after we were matched. ITS AMAZING!

Writing lab sucked. Its long and boring.  again... barely paid attention.
I am going to pay for this later.

People have called me beans before. I have no idea why. Do I look like some sort of bean? I must. How do I look like a lettuce? Am I wiggly? or Green? Catherine looks like a banana. tall, skinny and yellow. It's perfect I know ! :D Tonight i plan to start my Intro to Christianity on Williams book "Tokens of Trust" IF i get around to it

Apple Pie, Burritos and Caesar Salad

This is what I'm having for supper tonight - though probably in reverse order.

So, today at choir we did voice matching!! (You may be thinking, "what is voice matching?" Well, I don't feel like telling you, so Google it) It was freaky and cool. I don't understand it. Did you know that you hear differently in the right ear compared to the left ear? I found that out during voice matching.

I made a unanimous decision with myself: I think we should all start calling Breanna a nickname: Beans. It doesn't really suit her as far as vegetables go, but it's funny. In fact, as far as vegetables go, Breanna is more like green-leaf lettuce.

Breanna, what do you think about that?

Till later,
TGIF,
Catherine

Our First One!!!!!!!!!!!!

Breanna: We have to go choir.
Catherine: We'll write more after.

K bye.
